This 9-day tour offers a perfect blend of scenic beauty, adventure, and cultural experiences across Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. Starting from Delhi, you will explore the serene hill stations of Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala, and Dalhousie, each offering its unique charm, history, and stunning landscapes.
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi – Drive to Shimla Arrive in Delhi, where you’ll be greeted by our representative and begin your drive to Shimla (approximately 7–8 hours). Enjoy the scenic route through the hills of Himachal Pradesh. Upon arrival in Shimla, check into your hotel. The evening is free to explore Mall Road or relax. Overnight stay at a hotel in Shimla.
Day 2: Shimla – Narkanda – Rampur – Sarahan After breakfast, drive towards Sarahan, the gateway to Kinnaur Valley. On the way, pass through Narkanda and Rampur, known for its beautiful landscapes. Stop by Hatu Peak for a panoramic view of the Himalayas. Upon arrival in Sarahan, visit the famous Bhimakali Temple, an important religious site. Overnight stay at a hotel in Sarahan.
Day 3: Sarahan – Sangla After breakfast, continue your journey to Sangla, one of the most picturesque valleys in Himachal. En route, visit Karcham Dam and reach the stunning Sangla Valley. In the afternoon, explore Kamru Fort and visit the quaint villages in the area. Overnight stay at a camp or hotel in Sangla.
Day 4: Sangla – Chitkul – Kalpa After breakfast, drive to Chitkul, the last village on the Indo-Tibetan border. Enjoy the breathtaking views of snow-clad mountains and the Baspa River. After spending time in Chitkul, drive to Kalpa, a beautiful town with magnificent views of Kinner Kailash peaks. Check into your hotel and visit the Kalpa Monastery and the Suicide Point for stunning landscapes. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kalpa.
Day 5: Kalpa – Nako – Tabo After breakfast, drive towards Tabo, passing through the breathtaking Kinnaur region and reaching the desert mountain landscapes of Spiti Valley. Stop at Nako Lake and explore Nako Monastery before continuing to Tabo. Upon arrival, visit Tabo Monastery, known as the “Ajanta of the Himalayas” due to its ancient Buddhist murals and sculptures. Overnight stay at a guesthouse or hotel in Tabo.
Day 6: Tabo – Dhankar – Pin Valley – Kaza After breakfast, head towards Kaza, the main town of Spiti Valley. En route, visit Dhankar Monastery, perched dramatically on a cliff, and enjoy panoramic views of the valley. Continue to Pin Valley, known for its wildlife and beautiful landscapes. After exploring the area, proceed to Kaza for an overnight stay at a hotel or guesthouse.
Day 7: Kaza – Key Monastery – Kibber – Langza – Hikkim – Komic After breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing around Kaza. Visit Key Monastery, the largest and most famous monastery in Spiti Valley. Then proceed to Kibber Village, one of the highest inhabited villages in the world. Later, explore the high-altitude villages of Langza, Hikkim (home to the highest post office), and Komic, the highest motorable village. Return to Kaza for an overnight stay.
Day 8: Kaza – Chandratal Lake After breakfast, drive towards Chandratal Lake, a crescent-shaped high-altitude lake in the Spiti region. En route, cross Kunzum Pass, offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Upon arrival at Chandratal, take a short trek around the lake and enjoy its serene beauty. Overnight stay at a campsite near Chandratal Lake.
Day 9: Chandratal Lake – Manali – Departure to Delhi After an early breakfast, start your drive to Manali, passing through the scenic landscapes of Lahaul Valley and crossing the famous Rohtang Pass. Upon arrival in Manali, explore Mall Road or relax before your onward journey back to Delhi via bus or private transfer.
The tour continues to Dharamshala, home to Tibetan culture and the Dalai Lama Temple. Afterward, experience the scenic beauty of Dalhousie and Khajjiar, known as the “Mini Switzerland of India.” Finally, visit Amritsar, where you’ll witness the patriotic Wagah Border ceremony and the spiritual Golden Temple before returning to Delhi.
